Setup is done via the Smart Life app on your smartphone. Plug the thermostat socket into a wall outlet, open the app, and follow the instructions for WLAN connection. A gateway is not required – the socket connects directly to your 2.4 GHz WLAN network.

How safe is the child lock on the smart socket?

Does the frost protection function remain active even in case of internet failure?

Yes, the frost protection function works even without an internet connection. The thermostat socket stores the settings locally and automatically activates connected heating devices when the temperature drops below 5°C.

Are WLAN sockets generally power guzzlers in standby mode?
