The display design can be changed in the app. Permanently displaying the time on the screen is currently not possible.

Is the thermostat compatible with my gas boiler with a potential-free switching contact?

The SL06116W room thermostat has the potential-free switching contact at No. 7 and 8. The SL06216W model at No. 5 and 6.

Is it compatible with any actuator (on the underfloor heating manifold), or are specific actuators required for controlling the underfloor heating?

The thermostat is compatible with any actuator.

What is the standby power consumption?

The standby power consumption is <0.5W.

Does the room thermostat have a cooling function?

Yes, the SL06116W room thermostat has a cooling function, which can be activated in the Smart Life App or via the advanced settings of the room thermostat.

Is there a child lock?

Yes, the child lock can be activated and deactivated by pressing and holding the down arrow key for a few seconds.

Can I use the room thermostat without a smart home hub?

No bridge or similar is required for connection to the Smart Life/Tuya app. Alternatively, the room thermostat can also be controlled non-smart without any app connection.

How do I connect the room thermostat to my Wi-Fi?

The thermostat connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Download the Smart Life App, switch on the device, and follow the step-by-step instructions for network connection.

Which actuators are compatible with the SIRO thermostat?

The SL06116W works with all standard 230V actuators for underfloor heating. The relay output is universally applicable, so you do not need any special SIRO actuators.

How do I activate the cooling function of the thermostat?

The cooling function can be activated via the advanced settings on the device or conveniently in the Smart Life App. This function is particularly practical for reversible heat pump systems.

Can I install the thermostat in an existing flush-mounted box?

Yes, the SIRO Smart Room Thermostat fits into all standard 55x55mm flush-mounted boxes. It is compatible with frames from Gira Standard 55, Busch-Jäger balance SI, Berker S.1, and JUNG Series A.

How long does the display illumination last?

The LED display activates on touch and switches off automatically after a short time to save energy. You can individually adjust the brightness in the device settings.

Does the thermostat also work without an internet connection?

No, the room thermostat requires an active internet connection to function properly. Although you can manually set the temperature directly on the touchscreen, the thermostat must be connected to Wi-Fi for both manual operation and temperature control to work correctly.

The calibration and synchronization of the device functions also take place via the Wi-Fi connection, so use without an internet connection is not possible.

How accurate is the thermostat's temperature measurement?

The integrated sensor measures the room temperature with an accuracy of ±0.5 °C. The temperature setting range is between 5 °C and 35 °C, while the display can show temperatures from 1 °C to 70 °C.

A deviation of approximately 1–2 °C is within the normal range for the SIRO Smart Room Thermostat SL06116W. This is because room air, radiators or actuators, and the internal temperature sensor never behave exactly the same physically. Small differences between the measured and actually perceived room temperature are therefore technically unavoidable.

Which voice assistants support the SIRO thermostat?

The room thermostat is fully compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google. After setup in the Smart Life App, you can conveniently control the temperature via voice command.
