With the SIRO Smart 2-Channel Light Switch SL05108, you can bring your existing electrical lighting systems into the smart age. To upgrade, simply replace your old switch with the SIRO Smart Light Switch. Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi module in the SIRO Smart Switch, you can control your lighting system instantly and without a gateway via the Smart Life app (or Tuya app).

Of course, the entire range of smart options as well as voice control via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa are fully available to you.

Easy conversion

As a standard-compliant flush-mounted switch, the SIRO Smart Light Switch SL05108 can be easily installed into existing flush-mounted boxes. With external dimensions of 80 x 80 mm and a switch surface of 54 x 54 mm, it fits into most common wall switches and multiple frames* when retrofitted.

Smart app control without gateway

Thanks to the WLAN module, the SIRO Smart Light Switch SL05108 is always online and can be controlled directly with the Smart Life app (or Tuya app) via smartphone without a gateway.

No additional gateway is required. All you need is your Wi-Fi router with an existing internet connection. You can use all the familiar features on the Smart Life app, from timer functions to voice control via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa to scene setting. All these conveniences are possible by replacing a single switch.

Prinzipiell kann man nicht viel für den Preis von den Schaltern erwarten, allerdings, dass sie die manuelle Betätigung kaum bestehen und schnell kaputt sind. Mittlerweile 5 defekte Schalter in 2 Jahren!! Da ich hier vieles per App schalte, was dann damit erstaunlich zuverlässig ist), kann ich damit einigermaßen leben. Aber mechanisch sind sie vollkommen anfällig. Gleiches gilt auch für die Steckdosen, wo die kleinen Pins zum an- und ausschalten oftmals klemmen oder gar nicht reagieren. Neues einlesen ins Wlan ist damit dann auch oft nicht mehr möglich...bei de den Steckdosen und den Schaltern !

Ja, es funktioniert, aber...

... sooo einfach wie in der Werbung versprochen lässt sich ein "normaler" Schalter nicht gegen den "smarten" tauschen, denn in den meisten "normalen" Fällen läuft nur die Phase durch eine Schalterdose. Eine Neutralleitung muss für den Smart Schalter noch extra hinzuverlegt werden, nur dann hat der Schalter selbst eine Stromversorgung. Und wenn es beim Koppeln mit dem WLAN zickt, muss man mal eine andere Position der Schaltwippe ausprobieren - das hat in meinem Fall geholfen.
