Is it possible to permanently display the time on the thermostat display?

The design of the display can be changed in the app. It is currently not possible to permanently display the time on the display.

Is the thermostat compatible with my gas boiler with a potential-free switching contact?

The SL06216W room thermostat has the potential-free switching contact at terminals 5 and 6. The SL06116W model at terminals 7 and 8.

Is it compatible with any actuator (on the underfloor heating manifold), or are certain actuators required to control the underfloor heating?

The thermostat is compatible with any actuator.

How do I install the SIRO Smart SL06216W Room Thermostat correctly?

The room thermostat is mounted in a standard 86x86 mm flush-mount box. Switch off the power supply before installation and connect the wires to terminals 1-4 according to the instructions. For gas boilers with a potential-free contact, use terminals 5 and 6.

Which heating systems are compatible with the SL06216W?

The Wi-Fi thermostat is ideal for hot water underfloor heating and gas combi boilers. It works with all common 230V actuators and offers both heating and cooling functions for various applications.

Can I use multiple thermostats in different rooms?

Yes, you can manage any number of SIRO Smart Room Thermostats in the Smart Life app. Each device can be named individually and programmed with its own schedules, so you can set the optimal temperature for each room.

How accurate is the thermostat's temperature measurement?

The integrated sensor measures the room temperature with an accuracy of ±0.5 °C. The temperature setting range is between 5 °C and 35 °C, while the display can show temperatures from 1 °C to 70 °C.

A deviation of approximately 1–2 °C is within the normal range for the SIRO Smart SL06116W Room Thermostat. This is because the room air, radiator or actuator, and the internal temperature sensor never behave exactly the same physically. Small differences between the measured and actually perceived room temperature are therefore technically unavoidable.

What happens to my settings during a Wi-Fi outage?

In the event of an outage, your saved settings and schedules will not be lost.
Since the thermostat is controlled via the cloud, all data is stored online and automatically synchronized as soon as the power and internet connection are restored.
During a power outage, no control or temperature regulation is possible; however, after power is restored, the thermostat will automatically resume operation using the saved cloud data.

Please note that in individual cases, after prolonged power or internet outages, the thermostat may need to reconnect to the Wi-Fi before the connection to the cloud is fully re-established.

How long does the warranty last, and what is included in the delivery?

You receive a 24-month warranty on the device as well as a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. The delivery includes one SL06216W room thermostat and the user manual, which you can also download as a PDF.
